Training Facilities
For the structured acquisition of the defined interventions, a training period of at least 12 months (divisible into 2 × 6 months) at SSIPM-recognized training facilities is mandatory.
Recognition
Hospitals, clinics, centers, and practice facilities in the specialties of Anesthesiology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Rheumatology can be recognized as training facilities for interventional techniques if they meet the following conditions:

Senior physician / Senior medical officer, tutor with an interdisciplinary focus on «Interventional Pain Therapy (SSIPM)»
Training Concept
Training concept that regulates the targeted training of the candidate in interventional pain therapy.
